PAYMENT POLICY
All funds are to be paid in US Dollars, Cost of wire transfers, will be assumed by the participant.
A deposit of 25% of the total value of the tour is required to secure the booking.
Full payment is required 90 days before the starting date of the tour.
Payments are to be deposited in our bank account. Please check bank details with Amazon Birding prior to sending payment and double check with us before sending any currency other than US$ (such as £ and â¬).
CANCELLATION POLICY
Please note that, due to the considerable amount of planning and work involved in our tours prior to the arrival of each party, our cancellation policy is as follows:
- FOR A CANCELLATION MADE MORE THAN 90 DAYS PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF THE TOUR: 100% OF ALL FUNDS HAVING BEEN PAID ARE REFUNDABLE, MINUS US$150 AS A HANDLING FEE AND ANY BANK CHARGES INCURRED IN REFUNDING THE MONEY.
- CANCELLATION BETWEEN 90 AND 30 DAYS OF THE STARTING DATE OF THE TOUR: 50% REFUND.
- CANCELLATION LESS THAN 30 DAYS FROM THE STARTING DATE OF THE TOUR: 0% REFUND.WE CHARGE NO SHOW.
TRAVEL AND MEDICAL INSURANCE
Passport, visa and health requirements for you and your party is the client’s responsibility. We strongly recommend the use of a travel and medical insurance plan for extra expenses or unavoidable cancellations due to illness, accident, emergency evacuation, costs incurred due to flight delays, personal baggage loss, schedule changes, missed connections, delays caused by bad weather, strikes, natural disasters or other causes beyond our control.

AMAZON BIRDING is responsible for providing all the services according to the tour packages book by our guests as listed in our web site or customized itinerary.
The itinerary is a guideline; this may slightly change to maximize your visit, so AMAZON BIRDING has the right to alter the program.
It is important to mention that AMAZON BIRDING work by and for the guest and it will look for the best for its guests not only when they book or travel but also when for a reasonable situation they have to cancel.
Last minute bookings will be accepted but you must be aware that there is the possibility that we will not get space at the hotel or tour that you need.
